Early voting for the presidential election starts in Belarus
Early voting for the presidential election in Belarus will be held from 21 to 25 January 2025. More than 5.000 polling stations have been set up across the country. About 7 mln ballots have been printed. Voting booths are set up and ballot boxes are ready to be sealed. It is probably the biggest thing that the members of election commissions had to do to check the voter lists. According to the lists (with a small reserve) ballots were delivered to the polling stations. The voter will be able to get only one ballot instead of the spoilt one. 40.000 national and 456 international observers from 49 countries have been accredited to observe the elections. Many started their observation long before the opening of polling stations and the start of early voting.
