Early voting for the presidential election continues in Belarus
The CEC of Belarus notes the increased interest of international observers in the presidential election. Chairman of the CEC Igor Karpenko held meetings with members of the General Election Commission of Indonesia, the Union Election Commission of Myanmar, the Central Election Commission of Pakistan and the SCO Observer Mission headed by Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev. The international observers thanked the CEC for the openness of the presidential election in Belarus for international observers, which testifies to the high level of democracy and transparency of the electoral process. The active participation of young people in the early elections was noted. First-time voters, and there are more than 88.000 of them, receive gifts. The campaign is going on in accordance with the current legislation. The CEC has not received any complaints from observers or candidates.
