Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee V. Kukharev met with a delegation from Hanoi in Minsk

The sides discussed prospects for further cooperation in the spheres of economy, industry, healthcare, education, culture and tourism. The meeting paid special attention to trade and economic ties. In 2024, trade turnover between Minsk and Vietnam amounted to $120.7 mln. The Belarusian capital exports fertilizers, medicines, medical equipment, as well as machinery and measuring devices to Hanoi. Rubber, electronics, clothes, fish and rice, garments come from Vietnam. V. Kukharev also suggested strengthening ties in industry, tourism and education. The agreement on friendly relations between Minsk and Hanoi was signed in 2004, the program of cooperation for 2024-2026 — in 2023.
