CEC of Belarus registers 56 candidates for members of Council of Republic

The Central Election Commission considered the issue of registering candidates for members of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly. The Central Election Commission checked the compliance of the nomination procedure and drew up a conclusion. As a result, the CEC decided to register 56 candidates for members of the Council of the Republic. According to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Igor Karpenko, all candidates for members of the Council of the Republic of the eighth convocation meet the criteria set by the electoral legislation and the Constitution.
