Belteleradiocompany extends cooperation in the Middle East
At the CABSAT exhibition in the UAE, representatives of the main media holding company of Belarus demonstrated the capabilities of the First News TV channel and the international satellite channel Belarus 24. Participants and guests of the forum were presented with a variety of Belarusian content — from programmes about culture and tourism to documentaries and promotional materials. CABSAT is the leading platform for the broadcasting industry, satellite TV and content for the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. More than 450 media companies from 120 countries have taken part. An important focus was on strengthening cooperation and finding new opportunities to promote Belarusian content in the media markets of the Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye and a number of other African and Asian countries. During the visit, special attention was paid to studying the UAE media market. The Belarusian delegation held a number of meetings with representatives of relevant agencies and visited the country's largest media holdings, familiarising themselves with their approaches to broadcasting and content production.
