Belarusian rescuers arrived in Myanmar
On the instructions of the President, the ZUBR special purpose detachment of the Ministry for Emergency Situations has gone to Myanmar: 66 rescuers, kinologists with search dogs and 4 units of machinery with special equipment. In the near future, the first group of specialists will go to Mandalay — the most affected by the earthquake. The employees of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus will have to overcome about 300 kilometres, after which they will immediately begin emergency search and rescue operations. The first group will be divided into 2 teams: one will immediately start the rescue operation; the other will set up a field camp to ensure the work and accommodation of the squad. The work is planned to be carried out autonomously without interruption — 24/7.
