Belarusian law enforcers extradited an organized criminal group member to Austria
17.04.2025
A 38-year-old citizen of one of the Caucasian countries was detained while crossing the Belarusian border. The man was on the international wanted list under Interpol. He is accused of committing a series of thefts with home invasion as part of an organized criminal group in Austria.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this is another good example that despite the sanctions policy of some countries against Belarus, constructive cooperation between law enforcement agencies continues. Thus, 11 criminals were detained and handed over to their foreign colleagues by the Ministry of Internal Affairs officers last year.
