14.05.2025
Last week, GISEC Global 2025 was completed in Dubai. They are organised annually for national computer incident response teams. Belarus took the third place in the final standings. A total of 138 teams from different states and organisations took part in the exercise. It should be noted that the main threat to cybersecurity in Belarus is posed by hacker groups, which are aimed at stealing confidential information, causing reputational damage and paralysing the work of industries or entire enterprises. Among CIS countries, Belarus accounts for 7% of all cyberattacks. Cyberattacks primarily affect government agencies, followed by industrial enterprises and financial companies.
