Belarus on the eve of Victory Day celebrations
On 9 May the whole country will unite in commemorative and festive events. In Minsk, a rich programme is planned in every district of the capital: concerts, family festivals, exhibitions, sports contests, immersive shows and much more. In city parks and eco-locations more than 20 platforms will work on the 9th of May. The two main ones are at the Palace of Sports and in the Upper Town. Military compositions will be performed on the stage of the summer amphitheatre at the Svisloch river, as well as a bustling fair and an area with themed activities. At the City Hall there will be an exhibition with immersion into history, an alley of military glory and musical and choreographic accompaniment. The events will start at noon. The police will keep order in a reinforced mode.
