Belarus' innovative role in legislative development

Deputies discussed the fundamentals of legal policy, issues of planning, preparation and adoption of bills in the Oval Hall at a special seminar. In terms of the development of national legislation in many areas, Belarus is an innovator, for example, in the sphere of developing the digital economy, countering the rehabilitation of Nazism, and officially consolidating the fact of genocide of the Belarusian people. According to Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives V. Ipatov, laws should be an effective tool for solving pressing problems of citizens. Parliament has already adopted over 2,700 laws that regulate various spheres of life of the country and society from economy and social life to defense and law enforcement.
