Belarus and Myanmar intend to strengthen bilateral military cooperation
During his visit to Myanmar, Minister of Defence of Belarus Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar General Maung Maung Aye. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in intensifying and deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Viktor Khrenin thanked his colleague for the hospitality, noting that the Republic of Belarus pays special attention to the development of multifaceted cooperation with the Southeast Asian states in general and Myanmar in particular. Following the event, the heads of the defence ministries signed a protocol in a solemn atmosphere, which will confirm the intentions of Belarus and Myanmar to strengthen bilateral military cooperation.
