Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a decree on raising pensions

The recalculation will take place on 1 September, and payments will increase by an average of 5%. About Br 2.2 bln will be allocated for these purposes, of which 107 mln are additional expenses in connection with the increase in pensions according to the decree. This is the second increase in 2025. The first occurred on 1 February by 10%. According to preliminary estimates, the average age pension will be Br 980. The annual increase will be more than 20%. Today, there are more than 2.3 mln recipients of labor pensions in Belarus.
