Adjustments were made to price regulation
In Belarus, the marginal prices of potatoes, onions, beetroot, carrots, cabbage and apples will cease to be in force in May. Adjustments have been made in the Council of Ministers' resolution on price regulation. Also among the innovations — the list of costs, which are prohibited to include in the cost price, is fixed by law. A single marginal markup is set for imported goods, which must be met, despite the number of links in the supply of goods from the border to the shop shelf. Belarusian producers are allowed to form their own prices and not to apply to government agencies for its increase. Also, Belarus will stop regulating the prices of 120 goods. These are positions of non-daily demand or premium class. The decree of the Council of Ministers comes into force on 15 April.
