A school in Vitebsk district was named after Soviet cosmonaut P. Klimuk
16.04.2025
The name of the pilot-cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, now bears Novka secondary school of Vitebsk district. The educational institution is closely connected with the study of outer space. Thus, the "Gagarin's detachment" unites two dozen pupils. The school has everything necessary for studying planets, stars and distant galaxies — a planetarium, an astronomical site and a museum room. Dozens of exhibits: models of rockets, photos taken on the ISS and even a sample of soil from the cosmodrome. All this is a real journey into the history of space exploration. The Novka school plans to strengthen cooperation with Russian "space schools", exchange experience, and carry out joint space projects.
