A new children's hospital building has opened in Brest
17.09.2025
The Day of People's Unity in Brest began with a ceremonial rally and flower-laying ceremony at the monument in the city's park of culture and recreation. The monument is the resting place of 46 Red Army soldiers who gave their lives in 1939, defending Belarusian soil from the Poles. Next to them are the names of the Heroes of the Soviet Union who liberated Brest from the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War. Also today, the ceremonial reopening of Building No. 2 of the Brest Oblast Children's Hospital took place after its renovation. Now, young residents of the region will be able to recover their health in improved conditions.
