A museum exhibition "Memory of the fiery years" opened in Gomel region
In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, large-scale work to preserve the memory of the heroic feat of the people during the Great Patriotic War continues in the Gomel region. Thus, in the agro-town of Rassvet, Oktyabrsky district, a museum exhibition was opened as part of the historical and tourist project "Memory of the fiery years". The exhibition tells about the unique wartime events that took place in the region. It is also dedicated to the legendary Heroes of the Soviet Union, who carried out the first and only tank ramming of an armored train in the history of wars. This is the first stage of the project, which was implemented thanks to the victory in the open competition of civil initiatives of the Gomel Regional Association of Local Councils of Deputies.
