A monument to Soviet Border Guards was delivered to Brest

A gift for the 80th anniversary of the Victory. A monument to Soviet border guards delivered to Brest. The composition is over 3.5 meters high and was made in the The Grekov Studio of Military Artists of the Russian Defence Ministry. It symbolises the restoration of the USSR state border in 1944. The grand opening of the monument will take place on 21 June at the Northern Gate of the Brest Fortress. The project was implemented thanks to close cooperation between the defence departments of Belarus and Russia and personally between the ministers of defence.
