A memorial plaque was unveiled at the Brest garrison cemetery to the soldiers, natives of the Vladimir Oblast of Russia, who defended the Brest Fortress in 1941. This is the 12th plaque on the Alley of Memory. Each is a reminder of heroism, heroism and the pain of loss. 19 Red Army soldiers, natives of the Vladimir Oblast, courageously defended the Brest Fortress during the Great Patriotic War. Guests from the Vladimir Oblast of Russia came to honor the memory of their countrymen.
