A flask to collect coins for the Monument to the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War was installed at the National Airport in Minsk

The people's monument will be installed on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow by 9 May. The coin collection campaign is the next stage of the project of the Alexei Talai Charitable Foundation for the creation of national monuments "Living Memory of Grateful Generations". Behind each coin is the history of a whole family. Thus, about 1.5 million coins from each region of the country have already been collected. Residents of Russia, European countries, citizens of the U.S. and Kazakhstan take part in the action along with Belarusians. The large-scale action, dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of Victory, will last until 31 March. More than 5 million people have already taken part in it.
