11.09.2025
The President of Belarus signed a decree on improving state administration in the tourism sector. Among the innovations, the National Tourism Agency is subordinate to the government and receives authority to implement a unified state policy in the tourism sector. The decree defines the main tasks for the five-year plan — this is to almost double the contribution of tourism to the country's economy, achieving its share in GDP of at least 4.5% in 2030. The adoption of the decree will give impetus to the development of tourism and build an effective management vertical for this priority area of economic activity.
