The results of the essay contest "I want to be a diplomat" were summed up in Minsk
The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and laureates was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. The contest participants had to write an essay and tell about their professional dream. Every year the number of those willing to try themselves in a difficult but very important field grows. This time the number of participants was a record — more than 200 young men and women. 16 of them became laureates, and 15 were declared winners. These are schoolchildren and students who are interested in foreign policy and economics. The main prize of the contest is an opportunity to undergo an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The laureates will be able to participate in the annual workshop for young diplomats. Recall, the initiative to hold the contest was launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs several years ago.
