11 Years of the EAEU
Today, the Eurasian Economic Union is 11th anniversary. On 29 May 2014, the Treaty on the Establishment of the EAEU was signed in Astana. 5 countries have created a successful and solid integration model during this time. The Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Prime Minister of Armenia were congratulated on the Day of the Eurasian Economic Union by Russian leader Vladimir Putin. This year Belarus is chairing the EAEU bodies and is actively promoting its initiatives. On 26 and 27 June, Minsk will host the key business event of the country — the Eurasian Economic Forum. The programme includes more than 30 business themed events. They will talk about the development of co-operation ties between the five countries, the formation of a common transport, logistics and energy market, ensuring food security, as well as the introduction of innovations and digital technologies in various areas of the economy.
