15.04.2024
Trade and new industrial cooperation projects are the main topics of negotiations between the prime ministers of Belarus and Russia. The one-on-one meeting preceded the broader negotiations. This year, in 2 months, mutual trade has already increased by 2.8%, and last year trade turnover exceeded $53 billion. Today it is important to maintain the momentum and launch new projects. In particular, cooperation in aircraft manufacturing and the creation of a joint aircraft were on the agenda in Moscow. Among other issues are also cooperation in the machine tool industry, gas prices for Belarus since 2026, and oil supplies to refineries.
