Today the grand opening of "Listapad" will be held

The XIX Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" will be held from November 17 to 24 under the slogan "Creating the Future". The festival events will take place not only in the Belarusian capital, but also in other cities. A total of 91 cinemas in Belarus will be involved. This year, a record number of applications for participation in the festival were submitted ­­­­ 2087 from 107 countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. The opening and closing ceremonies of the film forum will be held at the House of Cinema. Traditionally, special prizes of the President of the Republic of Belarus "For the preservation and development of traditions of spirituality in cinema" and "For humanism and spirituality in cinema" will be awarded at the ceremonies. The opening film will be the debut film of the Belarusian director Kirill Khaletsky "Filmmakers". During the forum, master classes and creative meetings with famous producers, directors and actors will be held.
