Today marks the 85th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Mulyavin, people's artist of the BSSR
12.01.2026
People's Artist of the BSSR was born in 1941 in Sverdlovsk. In 1963, he moved to Minsk and joined the staff of the Belarusian Philharmonic. Six years later he created Pesnyary. The band captivated the audience with a unique combination of Belarusian folklore and pop music. The ensemble's business cards include Vologda, Belovezhskaya Pushcha, Alesya, and Aleksandrina. The memory of V. Mulyavin lives on today: the hits of the Pesnyars are still being played, a monument to the artist has been erected in Minsk and the National Center for Musical Art named after him is operating. The Belgorod Philharmonic has prepared concert programs for the anniversary date.
