The National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry opens in Molodechno

Today in Molodechno the grand opening of the XXIII National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry will take place. Events related to the festival began on June 11. Both amateur and distinguished bands not only from the Molodechno region, but also from nearby Volozhin, Vileika, and Myadel take part in the concert. In addition to Belarusian artists and ensembles, the concert "Dedicated to you, Belarus" on the Central Square features guests from Omsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Bryansk, Smolensk regions, as well as St. Petersburg. The most important event of the festival is the pop song competition. The festival of music and words ends on June 15 with the "Together about love" concert.
