The exhibits at the Nesvizh Castle reflect the extraordinary history of the iron. Ironing tools were made of wood, stone, glass, iron, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminum and were used to bend, soften, pleat, and smooth fabric, as well as give the required shape to certain items of clothing. The exhibition features irons from China, Japan, the USA, Austria, Russia, Belarus, Italy, Great Britain, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Holland, France, India and other countries. Devices and tools for cold ironing are demonstrated, as well as all groups of irons depending on the method of heating.
