04.06.2024
"Ballet Summer at the Bolshoi" continues. The Leonid Yakobson Ballet Theater takes up the touring relay. Today a signature trio of performances will be staged. The Bach's "598 times" was choreographed by our contemporary Samodurov. The third part is also in his reading. Ballet lovers will enjoy 18 minutes of "Naughty Limericks" by Rodion Shchedrin. The dance polyphony was awarded the highest theater award in St. Petersburg, the Golden Sofit, as the best ballet performance of the season. The event will culminate in the one-act ballet "Rodin", wich includes seven restored miniatures, conceived by Jacobson himself. Three performances will be held today with a soundtrack, but the entire cast of the theater soloists will appear on stage.
