Sensational discovery in the Art Museum

A new painting has been discovered under the famous "Girl" by Russian artist Malyavin! All 79 years the floral still life was hidden under a layer of brown paint, on a duplicate canvas, which is a rarity in restoration practice. The mystery was "in front of the viewer's eyes" since 1961, when "The Girl" appeared in the permanent exposition. The discovery was made by accident. A year ago, the portrait was undergoing its first scheduled restoration. Today, both the flowers of an unknown author and the portrait of the brush of Russian artist Malyavin live separately. They will be presented in a closed format as a gift to the 85^th anniversary of the National Art Museum.
