Project premiere at Art Museum
100 works are exhibited, whose main unifying feature is the search for sacred symbols. On the walls of the main art gallery of the country are specimens of national art from 17th-19th centuries, domestic scenes and portraits, in which the text of the Holy Scripture is hidden. Specialists have divided the exhibition into four thematic sections and offer a scientific art quest, which is to examine the attributes and solve allegories in the images of the Mother of God, Jesus Christ, his disciples and followers. The central hall hosts portraits of statesmen and clergymen. Also not without some hidden meanings. The Museum of Old Russian Culture of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus also provided some items from its collection. These are works that are rarely available to the viewer, including Our Lady of Belynichi, St. Augustine and the Royal Gates from the late 16th century.
