In the Volovich Palace in Svyatsk, the study of unique paintings of the XVIII century continues. Restorers are working simultaneously in several halls, exposing decorative elements and color layers that have been hidden under the old plaster for more than two hundred years. Experts emphasize the exceptional quality of the painting. Despite the damage, the level of its preservation remains impressive. The task of the restorers is not only to reveal the painting, but also to preserve it by strengthening the base, stabilizing the paint and restoring the lost details. There are still unexplored areas in several halls.
