International exhibition "Sciarsism" advertized at National Center for Contemporary Arts
05.03.2024
Sciarsism is a movement in contemporary art founded by Sergei Dozhd, a Russian artist, art critic, and abstractionist. The author and his like-minded people characterize the direction as a new wave of the Russian avant-garde. Sciarsistic theory proposed a new system for understanding artistic abstraction, in which the square is thought, the circle is feeling, and the triangle is intuition. Artists from 8 countries will take part in the exhibition in Minsk. The expo features more than 70 works of painting, graphics and sculpture, which illustrate the theory of Sciarsism in various techniques and forms of art.
