Grand Prix of the XXXV International Festival of Modern Choreography goes to China

The XXXV International Festival of Modern Choreography ended in Vitebsk. The IFMC-2024 Grand Prix was won by a song and dance theater from China. The solo entitled "Engraved Breath" was performed by Yu Jiajun, who made his debut on the Vitebsk stage. The first prize of the festival went to the ensemble "Alesya" from Mogilev. The second was shared by Minsk and Samara, and the third — Vitebsk and Tyumen. Several groups were awarded special prizes. One of the most honorable — named after Yevgeny Panfilov — was awarded to the Gomel project "X-periments". In total, more than 30 groups and individual performers took part in the contest of modern choreography.
