Brest hosts a festival of young pianists from Belarus and Russia

The VI International Piano Competition dedicated to the memory of Svyatoslav Richter is taking place in Brest. Young musicians from specialized colleges and universities of Belarus and Russia are taking part in it. A total of 27 pianists take part in the competition. The jury evaluates the technique of performance, emotional depth and originality of interpretation of works. The competition will end on 20 March. This day will mark the 110^th anniversary of Sviatoslav Richter's birth.
