Belynichi becomes cultural capital of Belarus

The opening ceremony of the republican action took place in the town of Belynichi, Mogilev Region. The regional center has become the cultural capital of Belarus. The Belynitsky-Birulya Museum presented an exhibition of fine art from the funds of the National Art Museum. The ceremony of canceling the envelope with the original stamp has become a good tradition. The artistic basis of the design is the sculptural composition "Appearance of the Icon" and the church in honor of the Belynichi Icon of the Mother of God, as well as the town's coat of arms. The "Cultural Capital of Belarus" campaign has been held on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture since 2010. 15 cities in the country already had this status.
