Belarus celebrates the 95th anniversary of Vladimir Karatkevich's birth
27.11.2025
A gala evening dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Vladimir Karatkevich's birth will be held at the National Art Museum. His novels, stories, and poems revealed Belarus as a land of legends, mysteries, and human destinies. The museum will host a presentation of the new almanac "Rodnaha Slova" (Native Words), and a musical program from the Belarusian Academy of Music. Arias from the opera "Dzikae palyavanne karalya Stakha" and fragments from the libretto "Sivaya Legenda" will be performed — works created based on the author's cult stories.
