"Ballet Summer" has started at the Bolshoi Theatre

The "Ballet Summer" festival has started at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. This year for the first time the Mariinsky Theatre's Seaside Stage Company is performing for the Belarusians. The Russian company triumphantly presented to the Belarusian audience the famous ballet "One Thousand and One Nights" based on Arabian fairy tales to music by Fikret Amirov. The second show of the ballet will take place on 5 June. The company has combined two casts: artists from Vladivostok, and the Symphony Orchestra and Chorus of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. The Minsk audience will enjoy "Ballet Summer" until 8 June.
