14.05.2025
Painting with spiritual heritage. The National Art Museum of Belarus presents the exhibition "Witnesses of the Great History". The central theme is Biblical subjects of the Old and New Testaments. On the walls are four dozen works of Belarusian, Russian and Western European paintings of the XVI-XIX centuries, as well as icons. The original version of the exposition was seen by the citizens of Mogilev last year, now the collection has been doubled. The exhibits represent a combination of museum collections of ancient Belarusian and Russian art — altar compositions, images of saints and biblical motifs. Art admirers will be able to see historical paintings by artists from different countries and epochs until mid-June.
