"Aleksandriya Gathers Friends" festival to be held on July 6-7

Every year, the nationwide "Kupalye" holiday in Shklov district becomes one of the cultural highlights in the region. This year it will be held on July 6 at its usual location, the picturesque bank of the Dnieper near the bridge connecting the towns of Aleksandriya and Kopys. Artisans from 22 regions have confirmed their participation. For the first time guests from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will take part in the festival. They will present the peculiarities of the national jewelry of their regions, as well as metal painting technique.
