A unique exhibition has opened in the Minsk City Hall
12.08.2025
The exhibition features 12 reproductions of icons from the 13th-16th centuries, brought from Russia. This is a collection of copies of masterpieces of ancient Russian painting from one of the collections of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve. The works are made in full size on a wooden base. This method allows you to accurately convey the beauty and spiritual power of the originals, which never leave the walls of the museum. Over the past ten years, reproductions have visited dozens of cities in Russia and Europe. Now the exposition is going on a journey through Belarus. The exhibition is in Minsk until 7 September.
