Summer Olympic Games finished. Belarusians have won 9 medals: 1 gold in trampoline, 4 silver medals in weightlifting 75 and 105 kilograms, women"s wrestling, hammer throw, and 4 bronze medals in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, swimming, rowing canoe female quartet. Among all the national teams of the planet we are on the fortieth place. According to first vice-president of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov, our team has performed well at the Olympics. Belarus has managed to win almost as many medals as its larger neighbors: Poland and Ukraine. The next Olympic Games will be held in Japan.
