Belarus" national Paralympic team is to leave for Rio de Janeiro today. Alexander Triput has been chosen as the team"s flag bearer; the team"s captain is Anna Konyuk.The Paralympic Games will feature 20 Belarusian athletes competing in five sports - swimming, fencing, rowing, athletics and judo.The Paralympic Games opening ceremony will be held on 7 September, competitions to follow on the next day. The Paralympic Games in Rio will see a total of over 4,000 athletes competing for 528 medal sets.
