Manchester City defender came to thank Belarus

Manchester City defender and Uzbekistan national team player Abdukodir Khusanov arrived in Minsk immediately after the end of his performances at the World Cup. The purpose of the visit is to thank Belarus and local specialists for their contribution to the development of his career. During the trip, the football player met with the Minister of Sports Sergey Kovalchuk and his first coach in Belarus, Anatoliy Yurevich. During a warm conversation, the player noted the importance of the Belarusian stage in his development. The footballer came to Belarus at the age of 17, played for Energetik-BGU and competed in the country's top league. In the summer of 2023, he moved to French club Lens, and in January last year, Khusanov became a player of Manchester City.
