HC Dinamo Minsk became the first team to reach the quarterfinals of the Gagarin Cup

HC Dinamo Minsk defeated their Moscow counterparts in the first round of the 2026 Kontinental Hockey League playoffs. For the first time in their history Minsk club won the series 4-0. Their next opponent will be an Eastern Conference team. Dinamo previously achieved their best-ever second place in the Western Conference following the regular season.
