Friendship Games. Swimming team of Belarus wins 8 gold medals

The Belarusian swimming team successfully performed at the international competitions "Friendship Games". The day before, the athletes arrived in Minsk and brought 19 medals (8 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze). In adults, Anastasia Shkurdai (200 m backstroke) and Ilya Shimanovich (100 m breaststroke) climbed to the first step of the podium. During the start, the records of Belarus were updated: three national and five junior ones. About 800 athletes from 11 countries, including 27 Belarusian athletes, took part in the tournament.
