Development of rock climbing in Belarus

A new training room for rock climbers was opened at Dinamo stadium in Minsk. The sport can be practiced not only by the youngest climbers but also by members of the national team. This is an Olympic sport, but so far our athletes only dream of qualifying for the Games. At the moment, Belarusian rock-climbing is best represented in Minsk, Gomel and Pinsk. There are some promising coaches in Belarus. Most often they are former mountaineers. The University of Physical Education also trains specialists in this sport.
