Belarusian boxers are allowed to participate in WORLD BOXING tournaments in neutral status

As noted in the statement the athletes will be required to undergo a thorough vetting process to be eligible to participate in the competition. Last year the IOC provisionally recognized WORLD BOXING as the international governing body for boxing at the global level. This sport will be represented under the aegis of this body in 2028 Olympic Games. In March 2026 the WORLD BOXING Executive Board approved the Belarusian Boxing Federation's application to join the organization.
