Belarus women's national tennis team to start at the Billie Jean King Cup

The women's national tennis team of Belarus starts today at the Billie Jean King Cup. This is a new competition, a year ago the Federation Cup, which is familiar to fans, changed its name and format. 12 best teams in the world are divided into 4 pools, Belarusians will play in trio "B". Today they will play against the Belgians: three games, two singles matches and one doubles. Representing our team are Alexandra Sasnovich, Yulia Gotovko, Irina Shimanovich, Vera Lapko and Lydia Marozava. In addition to the Belgians, the group includes the team of Australia, the game with it is scheduled for November 4. The winner of the trio will advance from the group to the semifinals.
