Belarus claims 1 gold and 2 silvers in canoeing and kayaking

Belarus claimed new medals in canoeing and kayaking. The day session featured 5 medal events. Belarus’ Volha Khudzenka won the Women’s K1 500m gold. Nadzeya Makarchanka and Volha Klimava won the Women’s C2 500m silver. The Belarusian quartet of Makhneva, Papok, Khudzenka and Litvinchuk claimed the Women’s K4 silver. Meanwhile, Belarus' boxing team have guaranteed at least bronze medals at the 2^nd European Games securing two spots in the semifinal.
