Aryna Sabalenka to compete for semi-final spot at tournament in Doha

Aryna Sabalenka will face eighth seed Iga Swiatek in a bid to secure a semi-final spot at the tennis tournament in Doha. The day before, the Belarusian outplayed Switzerland's Jill Teichman 6:2, 6:1 in the round of last sixteen. Sabalenka only played with Swiatek once, at last year's final tournament, when she won the match.
